2. Younger generations stay glued to electronic devices twenty four hours a day. We live through our phones and computers, only communicating with each other when necessary. Technology has become such a way of living that it has even entered school systems and affected the way in which students are taught information. Without the use of the internet younger generations would have no idea how to look up information or even any way to find answers to simple problems. No one bothers to read for enjoyment anymore but rather scroll through pictures in free time. I am jealous of older generations because unlike our younger generations, they actually hold knowledge within them because of their necessity to learn. They were not offered ways to cheat by quickly looking up a question on the internet, but rather spend the time to find a particular book and looking up the correct information allowing the knowledge to settle in more deeply. They have learned to comprehend with long term rather than younger generations very short term spurts of knowledge and comprehension.

Compared to the older generation the younger generation has an advantaged in today's society. We have been handling technology sense we were born and so we are very fluent in using technology. This allows us to access all of the knowledge that the older generation has gathered over the entire lifetime within a matter of minutes. This also gives the capacity for greater knowledge acquirement. It is true that younger generations do not appreciates books as the older generation does and that is an unfortunate thing, but with devices such as kindles we have millions of books all within easy reach. For these reasons being in the younger generations has more advantages than being in the older.
P.S. this is not how I actually fell but it was the easiest for me to write a response.

    1. If it's not how you feel, why say it? (???)

  2. The advancements in technology can be a good thing. Why should we have to spend the time to look up information when we can look it up in a matter of seconds on a phone or computer? We are getting to the point where anything found in a book or newspaper can be found online. I will say that people of today's generation lack some important social skills possibly due to always being on a cell phone. I believe we will grow out of that (to some degree) once we get out in the real world.

  3. I like your point of view on the topic! There is a large amount of short cuts created by the internet and by technology. As a generation, we have gotten lazy by just pressing enter on our computers and finding solutions. However, I think that if we can spend less time looking up something on the internet than searching the library for a book that we can increase our productivity and spend more time doing other things. But, that's just me!
